Customer Return and Refund Policy
As part of our Customer Service commitment, Simply New Zealand Honey will advise our customers to choose their items carefully as Simply New Zealand Honey doesn't accept refunds or exchanges to any extent permitted by law. All items from our online store are sold on a non-returnable basis unless defective. Please check that all items received are what you have ordered. If you have received an INCORRECT item DO NOT OPEN IT. We will not accept any returns or provide refunds of items that have been opened, tampered with or not in their original condition.
Contact must be made by you within 3 days of receiving your items.
You are welcome to a refund or exchange where:
- the incorrect item(s) are delivered (provided the item(s) have not been opened or tampered with and are in re-saleable condition); or
- an item is faulty; or
- to any extent permitted by law
No refund given, exchange offered or correspondence will be entered into for:
- Change of mind
- Products that have been opened or tampered with or are not in a resalable condition
- Incorrect orders made by the recipient
Gift Certificates or Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Defective items
Defective items must be returned within (3) three days of the purchase date, at the customer’s expense, to be eligible for replacement. It is strongly recommended that your package be registered or in some way trackable. We will not be responsible for items lost in the post. Items will be replaced with the same item originally purchased. For items that cannot be replaced, a full refund will be offered in the form of a voucher for future online purchases.
Incorrect or Damaged Items
Contact Simply New Zealand Honey using the contact form on this website within two (2) working days of receipt of goods. We will contact you have some photos handy as this helps out a lot. Prior approval, in the form of a return authority (RA) must be obtained from Simply New Zealand Honey before returning goods. A Return Authority Number will be given to you upon approval. If goods arrive without an authorisation number, it is a breach of the conditions of using the service and your order will be rejected. Please do not throw out damaged items until authorisation to do so has been given.
Goods will be accepted for credit in the form of a gift voucher for further purchases or replacement at the sole discretion of Simply New Zealand Honey. The nature of our honey products makes a refund difficult. Please choose wisely. Under privacy laws we do not and cannot hold your credit card details on file.
Returning Goods
1. Obtain a Return Authority (RA) number by using the contact form on the website.
2. Goods must be returned in their original packaging in a saleable state at the customer’s expense.
3. A 25% restocking fee is taken from the cost of the goods excluding shipping and other fees. For example if the cost of the goods was $100 a $25 restocking fee will be removed from the credit. This will give you a credit total of $75. No credit is given on shipping or other bank fees.
4. Goods will be accepted for credit in the form of a gift voucher for further purchases or replacement at the sole discretion of Simply New Zealand Honey

Shipping of your purchases
By entering your postcode into the shipping field on the product page or the shipping field on the checkout page you will know exactly what the shipping cost will be prior to checkout. Naturally postage will reduce on a per item basis as more items are added into your shopping cart. Simply New Zealand Honey are unable to guarantee an exact delivery time however, we do require someone to sign for the consignment. Your order will be shipped by a variety of companies depending on your location and weight of the order. Provide as much information as what you enter is what is printed for the courier.
Damage of your package in transit
While we take great care to package all orders to prevent damage during transport, sometimes accidents can occur which are out of our control. Simply New Zealand Honey will not be held responsible for any damages resulting from transportation of purchased items, such damage is the sole responsibility of the Courier / Transportation company making the delivery. If you do not agree with this condition, please do not purchase goods from Simply New Zealand Honey.
Hours of operation
We process orders from Monday through to Fiday 10:00 AM to 3.00 PM in winter and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in summer. Orders received outside these hours will be processed the next business day.
WITHIN NEW ZEALAND Free Shipping of orders
Free shipping applies if you spend over $101 (if you are ordering within New Zealand, and your weight is under 10Kg). Simply New Zealand Honey will select the method used to ship your order, generally this is the standard method.
INTERNATIONAL International Courier Shipping
International shipping is in partnership with our international courier of our choice. Simply New Zealand Honey only exports a select group of products to a select number of countries. All international orders are payable in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) into our NZD account. We suggest a minimum order of NZD $100. To aid our export professional please email export info@manukayou.co.nz. That way we will know exactly what you want to ship and to where. Once the shipping has been finalised an invoice can be created which will require payment into our bank account.
Please be aware that Simply New Zealand Honey takes no responsibility for extra fees, charges, taxes or tariffs placed on the shipment by your customs or border security department. You are also responsible for paying these duties & taxes and obtaining all the necessary licences and permits to carry out the importation of the goods prior to order being shipped.
